Screen or cable?
If the image flickers or disappears only with the lid at a certain angle, the culprit is usually the display cable or the hinges rather than the panel itself. We'll tell the difference during diagnostics so you don't pay for a part you don't need.
How we do the replacement
Based on the exact laptop model, we choose a panel with the same resolution, connector and surface finish (matte or glossy). After the replacement, we check the image, the backlight and that the lid is properly attached.

Your questions answered
Is it worth replacing the screen on an older laptop?
In most cases yes – a panel is usually much cheaper than a new laptop. If the repair isn't worth it because of the laptop's age or other faults, we'll tell you upfront.
Can I use my laptop with an external monitor in the meantime?
Yes, as long as the screen doesn't have cracked glass that could crumble. Avoid opening the laptop unnecessarily so the crack doesn't spread.
Is courier pickup from anywhere in Czechia really free?
Yes. We collect your device and send it back to you free of charge. You only pay for diagnostics (890 CZK) if the device can't be repaired or you decline the repair.
How much does diagnostics cost?
If we carry out the repair, diagnostics is free. If the device can't be repaired or you decline the repair, we charge 890 CZK for the time we've spent on it.
