Your laptop screen should always look the same. If the picture is suddenly blurry, distorted or damaged in some other way, it's most likely a hardware fault.
First, you need to work out whether the problem is software-related (system settings) or hardware-related (a faulty component).
If only the size of items on the screen has changed, the problem is definitely just in your computer's system settings. You've probably changed a setting somewhere by mistake, or the graphics driver has stopped working properly. It could also be down to a faulty Windows update. In this case, I'd recommend having a look through your operating system's display settings and trying to set them correctly. Perhaps you've accidentally turned on scaling, or your screen resolution has changed for some reason. If you can't sort it out yourself, don't hesitate to get in touch.
Things are more serious when the colours on your display are completely off, the backlight keeps switching off by itself, or the picture is completely distorted and smeared. In this case, there is physical damage either to the LCD panel itself or to the LVDS cable that connects the LCD panel to the laptop's motherboard. Both of these components can be replaced as part of a repair. Feel free to bring your laptop to us or send it via our free courier pickup from anywhere in Czechia.
