Good to know

How to check your battery's health

On an Apple Watch, you'll find this under Settings → Battery → Battery Health. Apple Watch batteries are designed to retain 80% of their capacity after 1 000 cycles. For Samsung, Garmin and other watches, keep an eye on battery life above all: if it has dropped to roughly half, the battery is worn out.

How we open watches

Every brand is different. The Apple Watch has no screws and is opened through the glued-on screen – this requires heat and careful work so the screen doesn't crack. The Galaxy Watch has screws and a seal on the underside. Garmins have a back cover held by Torx screws. After the replacement, we always fit a new seal or adhesive.

Water resistance after repair

We reseal your watch after replacing the battery. However, the original water resistance can't be guaranteed once the watch has been opened – you can safely wear it while washing, but we no longer recommend swimming with it.

Swollen battery

If the screen starts lifting, the battery is swelling. Don't charge the watch, don't force the screen off, and send it to us. A swollen battery can push the screen out or even burst.

FAQ

Your questions answered

Which watches do you repair?

Apple Watch, Samsung Galaxy Watch, Garmin and other brands. You'll find prices for individual models below. If you can't find your model, send us the model name and we'll get back to you.

Will I lose my data and settings?

Data is usually synced with your phone. For an Apple Watch, we recommend unpairing it before sending it in – your iPhone backs it up automatically and you can easily restore it after the repair.

Is a battery replacement worth it for an older watch?

For more expensive models, yes. For cheaper watches, we'll tell you honestly whether a repair is worth it compared with buying new.

My watch won't charge – is it the battery?

It could also be dirty charger contacts, a faulty charger or a faulty wireless charging coil. Our diagnostics will pinpoint the exact cause.

Is courier pickup from anywhere in Czechia really free?

Yes. We collect your device and send it back to you free of charge. You only pay for diagnostics (890 CZK) if the device can't be repaired or you decline the repair.

How much does diagnostics cost?

If we carry out the repair, diagnostics is free. If the device can't be repaired or you decline the repair, we charge 890 CZK for the time we've spent on it.
