Why we replace the whole screen, not just the glass

In today's phones, the glass, the touch layer and the panel itself are bonded together into a single unit. Replacing just the glass can't be done reliably in a standard repair shop, so we replace the entire display module. That way, your phone has a fully working touchscreen and picture after the repair.

Types of replacement screens

An original OLED screen is the same as the one fitted at the factory. A compatible OLED (soft or hard OLED) has similar colours and blacks, but differs in brightness and power consumption. The cheapest options are LCD (incell) replacements, which are thicker, have weaker blacks and use more power. For each model, you can see which options we offer and at what price, and choose for yourself.

iPhone and the unknown part message

From the iPhone 11 onwards, iOS shows a notice in Settings if it can't verify the screen as genuine. Some features, such as True Tone, may be unavailable after the replacement. Face ID is a separate part, and replacing the screen doesn't affect it. Original Apple parts can be paired after the replacement using Repair Assistant in iOS.

Don't put off repairing cracked glass

Moisture and dust get into the phone through the crack, and glass splinters can cut your finger. A broken screen also often stops responding to touch, and then you can't access your phone at all. If the touchscreen isn't working properly, back up your phone while you still can.

Your questions answered

Will I lose my data?

No, a screen replacement doesn't affect your data. If possible, back up your phone before sending it in – that way you'll have peace of mind if another fault turns up during the repair.

Will my phone stay waterproof?

After the replacement, we reseal the phone with new adhesive or a new gasket. However, once a phone has been opened, nobody can guarantee its original water resistance.

The screen isn't cracked, but it shows nothing. Is it the screen?

Often, yes – after a drop, for example, the panel can crack underneath intact glass. However, a faulty connector or motherboard can cause the same symptoms. Our diagnostics will confirm the cause.

Do you also replace the back glass and camera lens?

Yes, you'll find prices for other repairs under your model in the repair price list. Write to us and tell us exactly what's damaged.

Is courier pickup from anywhere in Czechia really free?

Yes. We collect your device and send it back to you free of charge. You only pay for diagnostics (890 CZK) if the device can't be repaired or you decline the repair.

How much does diagnostics cost?

If we carry out the repair, diagnostics is free. If the device can't be repaired or you decline the repair, we charge 890 CZK for the time we've spent on it.
