Rule out the simple things first
Try a different HDMI cable and a different TV input. On the PS5 and PS4 you can start the console in Safe Mode (hold the power button until it beeps a second time) and choose a lower resolution or turn off HDCP. If there's still no picture and the connector is visibly damaged, it's time for a repair.
How we replace the port
The HDMI connector is soldered to the motherboard by many pins. We remove the old connector, clean the pads and solder in a new one. Then we check the circuit that sends the signal to the connector – on the PS5 and newer consoles this is a dedicated chip (retimer, HDMI encoder), which can also fail when the connector breaks off.
When more than the connector is needed
If the connector has been ripped out together with the board pads, or the video chip is damaged, the repair is more complex. We'll always send you the diagnostics result with a price, and we never repair anything without your approval.
How to avoid damage
Don't move the console with the cable plugged in, and leave the cable slack so nobody can trip over it. Use a good-quality cable of the right length rather than one stretched across the whole room.

Your questions answered
Will I lose my games and saved progress?
No, replacing the HDMI port doesn't touch the storage. After the repair, your console will start up with everything that was on it.
Do you repair the Nintendo Switch too?
The Switch sends its picture via USB-C and the dock. If TV output isn't working, the culprit is usually a faulty USB-C connector or a chip in the console or dock. Send it to us for diagnostics and we'll get back to you with a price.
Is the connector replacement permanent?
Yes, the new connector is firmly soldered in place. We give a 12-month warranty on the repair.
My console has no picture but the HDMI port looks fine. What now?
It could be the video chip, the power supply or another part of the board. Send it to us for diagnostics – we'll find the cause and get back to you with a price.
Is courier pickup from anywhere in Czechia really free?
Yes. We collect your device and send it back to you free of charge. You only pay for diagnostics (890 CZK) if the device can't be repaired or you decline the repair.
How much does diagnostics cost?
If we carry out the repair, diagnostics is free. If the device can't be repaired or you decline the repair, we charge 890 CZK for the time we've spent on it.
