What you should know about Nintendo repairs
Joy-Con drift: try Nintendo first
In the EU, Nintendo repairs drift on original Joy-Cons for the original Switch free of charge, even after the warranty has expired. You send only the controller, not the console. You lose this entitlement if anyone else has opened the Joy-Con. If you don't want to wait or aren't eligible, we'll replace the stick module for you.
Switch 2
According to teardowns, the Switch 2 Joy-Cons once again use conventional potentiometers rather than magnetic sensors, so they're prone to drift too. The console itself is harder to repair: both the game card slot and the USB-C port are soldered to the board, and the battery is firmly glued in. Repairs therefore require soldering.
Docks and charging
If the console won't output to your TV, try the original dock. Some unofficial docks stopped sending a picture after a system update. If even the original dock doesn't work or the console won't charge, the culprit is usually a faulty USB-C connector or charging chip – and we can fix that.
Switch Lite and cracked screens
The Switch Lite has no detachable controllers, so any drift or cracked screen means repairing the whole console. We replace both screens and sticks on the Lite.

- 1Check that your saves are backed up to Nintendo Switch Online cloud storage.
- 2Remove the game card and the microSD card.
- 3If you have drift, try calibrating and updating the controller first.
How the repair works
Order your repair online and a courier will collect your device for free. After diagnostics, you confirm the price – we never repair anything without your approval. We'll return your repaired device the same way.

Can you fix Joy-Con drift straight away?
Yes, we'll replace the stick module. With original Joy-Cons for the original Switch, though, consider Nintendo's free repair first – once we've worked on them, you'd lose that entitlement.
Will I lose my saved games?
No, a standard repair doesn't touch the console's storage. Your saves in Nintendo Switch Online cloud storage are backed up anyway.
Opravujete Switch 2?
Yes. Some repairs are more involved because of soldered parts, so we'll confirm the price with you in advance.
How long does a repair take?
Usually 1–3 working days, depending on part availability.
Is courier pickup from anywhere in Czechia really free?
Yes. We collect your device and send it back to you free of charge. You only pay for diagnostics (890 CZK) if the device can't be repaired or you decline the repair.
How much does diagnostics cost?
If we carry out the repair, diagnostics is free. If the device can't be repaired or you decline the repair, we charge 890 CZK for the time we've spent on it.
