What you should know about Xbox repairs
HDMI port and retimer
When an Xbox has no picture, the HDMI port is usually damaged, sometimes along with the chip (retimer) that sends the signal to the port. Both are replaced by soldering on the motherboard. We check the entire signal path so the repair lasts.
The disc drive is paired with the motherboard
The Series X disc drive electronics are paired with the motherboard via software. That's why, when the disc drive is replaced, the original drive board is moved into the new one. Never throw away your old disc drive – without it, the new one won't work.
Startup errors
Startup or update errors (such as E100 or E101) can often be fixed with an offline update from a USB drive. If the error keeps coming back after that, the storage or motherboard is usually faulty and it's time for diagnostics.
Xbox and Elite controllers
Besides stick drift, the LB and RB bumpers often fail on controllers – on the Elite Series 2 controller, these are the most common faults. We replace the microswitch or stick module and test the controller.

Your questions answered
Will I lose my games?
No. Repairing the HDMI port or the power supply, or cleaning the console, doesn't touch the storage. Your games and saves stay put.
Can you repair the bumper on an Elite controller?
Yes, we'll replace the faulty microswitch. You'll find the price for your controller in the repair price list.
My Xbox is under warranty. Should I come to you?
While it's under warranty, go to the retailer or Xbox Support – having the console opened elsewhere may void the warranty. Once the warranty has run out, we'll repair it for you.
How long does a repair take?
Usually 1–3 working days. We'll confirm the date once we've received your console.
Is courier pickup from anywhere in Czechia really free?
Yes. We collect your device and send it back to you free of charge. You only pay for diagnostics (890 CZK) if the device can't be repaired or you decline the repair.
How much does diagnostics cost?
If we carry out the repair, diagnostics is free. If the device can't be repaired or you decline the repair, we charge 890 CZK for the time we've spent on it.
