What you should know about Brother repairs
Ink Absorber Full
Brother inkjet and ink tank printers collect ink from cleaning cycles in an absorber. Once they report Ink Absorber Full, they stop printing. Brother treats this as routine maintenance that isn't covered by the warranty. We'll clean or replace the absorber and reset the counter.
Cannot Print and Cannot Clean
The Cannot Print XX or Cannot Clean XX messages point to a mechanical fault – often a foreign object or jammed paper in the print head's path. Try unplugging the printer for a few minutes and check that nothing is stuck inside. If the error persists, it needs servicing.
Laser printers
On Brother laser printers, streaks, smudges or faded prints are most often caused by the toner or drum, which are consumables. If replacing them doesn't help, the fuser unit or paper feed is usually to blame – and we can repair those.
How to prevent faults
Use your inkjet printer at least once every week or two, and avoid running deep cleaning repeatedly – it fills up the absorber. Use paper of the right weight and don't overfill the tray.

No – a full ink pad can overflow. We always clean or replace it first.

Is courier pickup from anywhere in Czechia really free?
