Laptop cooling system cleaning

How the cleaning works

We take the laptop apart right down to the heatsink and clear the dust out of the fan, heatsink fins and air channels. We replace the dried-out thermal paste between the processor, graphics chip and heatsink with fresh paste. If the fan is worn or noisy, we replace it. Once the laptop is back together, we check its temperatures under load.

How often to clean it

For normal use, we recommend cleaning once every 1–2 years. For gaming laptops or dusty environments, once a year. Regular cleaning can add years to your laptop's life and stops the processor or graphics chip from overheating and getting damaged.

Your questions answered

Can't I just blow out the fans with compressed air?

That only helps a little. Most of the dust builds up between the fan and the heatsink fins, where you can't reach it from outside. And blowing air won't replace dried-out thermal paste.

Will I lose my data?

No. Cleaning the cooling system doesn't touch your storage or operating system.

Is courier pickup from anywhere in Czechia really free?

Yes. We collect your device and send it back to you free of charge. You only pay for diagnostics (890 CZK) if the device can't be repaired or you decline the repair.

How much does diagnostics cost?

If we carry out the repair, diagnostics is free. If the device can't be repaired or you decline the repair, we charge 890 CZK for the time we've spent on it.
