What you should know about Xiaomi repairs
Why screen quality matters
After the HyperOS 3 update, some Redmi Note 14 phones were left with a black screen – these were units that had previously had a non-original screen fitted with an incompatible controller chip. So a cheap screen may only work until the first major update. That's why we state which part you'll get for every model, and we never use poor-quality replacements.
Charging port on a separate board
On most Redmi and POCO phones, the USB-C port sits on a small board together with the microphone. If your phone stops charging or people can't hear you on calls, replacing this board is often all it takes. It's a quick and affordable repair, and the motherboard stays untouched.
Xiaomi account and phone lock
If Find Device is turned on, the phone will be locked to your Xiaomi account (Mi account) and Google account after a factory reset. We don't reset anything during a standard repair, but make sure you know the passwords to both accounts just in case. Without them, nobody can unlock the phone after a reset.
Authorised service centre and warranty
Xiaomi's authorised service centre in Czechia is VSP DATA in Sezimovo Ústí. The manufacturer's warranty lasts 2 years, and under Xiaomi's terms any work done outside an authorised service centre voids it. The authorised service centre also wipes your data during the repair. Once your warranty has expired, you can order a repair from us with the price known upfront – and your data stays on the phone.

Do you use original screens?
Depending on the model, we offer an original screen or a high-quality compatible one. You can see which part you'll get and how much it costs next to each model in the repair price list.
Will I lose my data?
Not when replacing the screen, battery or charging port. We always recommend a backup, though, especially for water-damaged phones.
My phone is stuck on the logo. Can it be fixed?
It's often a software issue, sometimes the memory or the board. We'll check the phone and try to recover your data first. We'll then send you the repair price for approval.
Is it worth repairing a cheap Redmi?
Replacing the charging port or battery usually is. If a budget model has a broken screen, we'll tell you honestly whether the repair is worth it compared with buying a new phone.
Is courier pickup from anywhere in Czechia really free?
Yes. We collect your device and send it back to you free of charge. You only pay for diagnostics (890 CZK) if the device can't be repaired or you decline the repair.
How much does diagnostics cost?
If we carry out the repair, diagnostics is free. If the device can't be repaired or you decline the repair, we charge 890 CZK for the time we've spent on it.
