What you should know about Acer repairs
Aspire and Nitro: hinges
On the Aspire 5 and the Nitro 5 gaming laptops, the hinge mounts often break and the lid starts to crack. The manufacturer sometimes treats this as mechanical damage, even under warranty. We'll repair the hinge mounts or replace the display cover. The sooner you get it fixed, the cheaper it is.
Predator and Nitro: cooling
Acer gaming laptops have powerful cooling, but it clogs up with dust quickly. If the fan is roaring or has stopped spinning altogether, gaming performance drops sharply. We'll clean the cooling system, replace the thermal paste and, if needed, the fan.
Battery care
You can limit charging to 80% in Acer Care Center, AcerSense or NitroSense (depending on your model). If the setting resets after a restart, update the app and the BIOS.
An SSD speeds up an older Aspire
Many older Aspire models still use a traditional hard drive. Swapping it for an SSD makes the laptop much faster, and we'll transfer your system and data for you.

No. Repairing the hinges, battery or cooling doesn't touch the drive.
How long does a repair take?
Standard repairs usually take 1–3 working days; if a part needs ordering, it depends on its delivery.
Is courier pickup from anywhere in Czechia really free?
Yes. We collect your device and send it back to you free of charge. You only pay for diagnostics (890 CZK) if the device can't be repaired or you decline the repair.
How much does diagnostics cost?
If we carry out the repair, diagnostics is free. If the device can't be repaired or you decline the repair, we charge 890 CZK for the time we've spent on it.
